Michal Wurszt - A Short Biography

Michal Wurszt has been tattooing since the age of 15 years old.  Wurszt attended at art high school in Poland for six years where he had the opportunity to associate with other people with "the artists' perspective.".  Having trained in various fields of art, Wurszt has blended his passion for tattoo in how he observes other remarkable artists in the field.  "First of all, it was a great honor for me...I could also see how they create...It is interesting that their styles are quite different from each other.  However, they have something in common, something that catches my attention," said Wurszt in an interview with Sztorm.   

What is Michal Wurszt's Tattooing Style? 

Early in his career, Michal Wurszt noted that the majority of his clientele preferred gray-muted tattoos.  However, as an artist who pushes for the constant challenge, Wurszt's work exemplifies the newest ways that high-quality inks can be utilized to create the best of his multi-colored work. "Grays have a larger audience, but I always try to convince clients to get a colored tattoo during the conversation, even if they were not very fond of it before," said Wurszt when asked about gray realism versus multi-colored works. 

Wurszt truly enjoys creating Marvel-inspired tattoo artwork.  In Wurszt's earlier work, he was focused on humans, anatomy, and expression through facial expressions and gestures.  Self-reportedly, Wurszt has an affinity for beautiful women, so whenever he has the chance, Wurszt tries to "smuggle" them into his projects on a regular basis.  Wurszt enjoys animals in nature, but tends to avoid depicting them in tattoo art.

"Considering that my work is also my passion, I do not feel any burden, but rather the joy of being able to do what I have dreamed of for many years.  Parties can always be combined with tattooing, especially since I set my schedule and know when I can afford it.  From an early age, I was taught that apart from playing, you should think about the future at least a little.  In fact, compared to my friends with studies, I did not succeed, but I do not consider it a problem.  I'm actually glad it turned out this way.  You can look at it from a different perspective.  What I know and experience at the moment, my peers will be going through in a few years.  I think that being around people much older than me gave me a lot, because thanks to this I perceive reality differently."
